Tonight I heard the worlds largest sound And then it tried to kill me When I let it out of the house I let him out Your new room is too small shit show carpet wall I'm a cryptic hit To a harp that splits But we always miss the mark.

Tennis 02:24
I spent my entire last summer Playing tennis by myself And watching all the movies Sitting on the bottom shelf They said that being alone was bad for me Like satan in the 80's I've got no real friends But everyone keeps talking about me My mum came in Asked me what the racket was I told her I was doing Just what my father does Moving on too fast Because nothing ever lasts nothing ever makes us happy I don't think about god much anymore But last Sunday I threw up On a church bathroom floor And I've thought alot about him then I guess that's what it feels like To be born again If life was a game of tennis I'd zero you But I've spent my whole summer Learning all the rules Like a kid found dead on his bedroom floor I've found that love means nothing.
3.
When god first made the Ocean He made it in your stomach But it was too big And you were stuck Cutting yourself open To swim There's an ocean in my stomach And I'm diving in There's an abandoned beach town in my head And i'm moving in Your father Was a boxer In the navy His iron fist Got rusty From the navy When you started throwing punches I bet he loved it When you started throwing punches I'll bet he did Just look at the ocean And tell me again That you can know everything About someone, And still love them.
